Molokaʻi is more than land on a map.
Its mountains, forests, watersheds, agricultural lands, cultural places and communities tell the story of generations who came before us — and carry responsibilities to those who will follow.
Molokaʻi Heritage is being developed as a community-centered initiative dedicated to responsible stewardship, environmental restoration, cultural preservation and long-term protection of lands associated with Molokaʻi Ranch.
Our goal is to bring people together around a simple idea:

Molokaʻi Heritage welcomes participation from community members, kūpuna, youth, volunteers, educators, researchers, cultural practitioners, conservation organizations, businesses, and supporters.
Proposed Acquisition Vision
A Vision for Long-Term Protection

A long-term goal under exploration is the potential acquisition and preservation of approximately 55,000 acres associated with Molokaʻi Ranch.
A conceptual acquisition value of approximately $265 million has been discussed, together with the concept of broad community participation.
Any future financial participation program would require appropriate organizational structures, governing documents, financial safeguards, legal review, and formal participation documentation before being made available.
This is a proposed long-term community stewardship and acquisition initiative currently under development. No public financial participation program is currently being offered.
