Molokaʻi Heritage is preparing an initial governance framework for community review. The framework is intended to outline organizational structure, decision-making processes, oversight, and the transparency commitments the initiative intends to uphold.
Transparency as a foundation
The initiative believes responsible stewardship begins with open communication and accountable leadership. The draft framework describes how governance documents, policies, meeting minutes, and financial information could be shared publicly as the project develops.
Before any financial participation
The framework makes clear that no public financial participation program is currently being offered. Before any future opportunity involving financial contributions could be made available, formal organizational, legal, governance, and financial documentation would need to be completed.
How to provide input
Community members are encouraged to review the framework once published and share questions, ideas, and recommendations through the participation and community channels on this site.
